Ea Energy Analyses is a private Danish consulting company providing consulting services and performing research in the field of energy, environment and climate change. Ea Energy Analyses was founded by four partners in September 2005 and has currently 34 employees – 18 consultants, 10 student assistants and 4 administrative workers. In addition to this 2 interns typically work with the company. Ea Energy Analyses operates in Denmark, the Baltic Sea Region and abroad with project activities in Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. Our primary customers are authorities, energy companies and trade associations.

Energy systems and policy measures
Our scope of work comprises analyses of energy systems from a technical, economic and environmental approach as well as analyses of energy and climate policy measures. Our analyses focus on new production technologies as well as savings and adaption of the energy production and consumption to a more intelligent energy system.

Modelling of electricity and heat systems
We use complex mathematical models for simulation of electricity and heat systems in a liberalised market, and we use scenario techniques to estimate long-term possibilities of developing sustainable energy systems. We impart knowledge to our customers on the use of energy models and teach them how to use our modelling tools. Moreover, we help our customers in the energy sector to adapt to changing conditions.

Interdisciplinary integration and close dialogue
In our work, we attach great importance to interdisciplinary integration, to a close dialogue with the customer during the whole process and to presenting the results in an accessible way without compromising professionalism and documentation thus creating a sound foundation for decision-making. We have an ongoing cooperation with universities and other consulting companies.

Teaching and training
Another work area for Ea Energy Analyses is teaching at the Danish universities as a visiting lecturer or mentor for thesis writers in particular. In this way Ea Energy Analyses helps building up new Danish and international qualifications and pass on experience from trade and industry and the authorities. In return, Ea Energy Analyses gains an insight into the latest achievements within the research field.
